New Name,
But Our Mission Goes On

On August 1, 2008, Habitat for Humanity San Francisco and Peninsula Habitat for Humanity merged to become Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco. While our name has changed, our mission to partner with working families and the community to build affordable ownership homes in Marin, San Francisco and the Peninsula remains the same. To read more about the merger, please visit our new website at www.habitatgsf.org.

We all mourn the death of Kenneth Arthur, Jr., a proud father, loving husband, engaged community member and HHSF’s first homeowner. Learn more about his incredible life.

Did you know that HHSF tithes 10% of our unrestricted funds to Habitat for Humanity in Honduras? Learn more at Projects.

Watch a feature about HHSF on CBS’s "Eye on the Bay" at 7:00 pm on Thursday, May 15.
