A Home Dedication Celebration

On December 12, 2007, a house-full of guests celebrated the dedication of Habitat for Humanity San Francisco's Thrivent Builds home located at 110 Head Street in San Francisco's Outer Mission neighborhood. Guests reveled in the holiday spirit while the partner family received the keys to their new home. The silent auction held during the event raised $1,750 for the Thrivent Builds program, a unique partnership between Habitat for Humanity San Francisco and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.

Cabaret for Humanity

A sold-out crowd enjoyed Cabaret for Humanity on November 5 and 6 at the Empire Plush Room in San Francisco. All proceeds from the evening of entertainment support HHSFÕs efforts to build homes and hope in San Francisco and Marin.

Pub Quiz Benefits HHSF

On September 13th, HHSF’s Young Leadership Circle (YLC) partnered with World Savvy, a San Francisco nonprofit, to host a Pub Quiz at Café Royal in San Francisco. Quiz contestants were grilled on topics such as Presidential Candidates, Current Events and Bay Area Housing Issues. Participants and audience members alike participated in a little friendly competition while meeting new people and learning about Habitat for Humanity! Triva Night
