The need for affordable housing in San Francisco and Marin is acute. Did you know that San Francisco and Marin counties are the two counties in the United States with the least affordable housing? With the median home price in San Francisco reaching $746,000, the dream of homeownership is out of reach for many families.

You can help! Your investment makes it possible for Habitat for Humanity San Francisco to continue building safe, decent and affordable homes in partnership with families in need.

Your gift of $25 allows HHSF to purchase a box of nails; $75 pays for a toilet or a bathroom sink; $200 purchases one window; $500 pays for exterior paint on one home; $1,500 purchases sheet rock for one home; $3,000 purchases the interior plumbing; and $5,000 pays for the foundation of an entire house.

Habitat for Humanity San Francisco (HHSF) is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization that relies exclusively on private donations to fund operations and construction projects.

Individual Gifts

All contributions to Habitat for Humanity San Francisco are tax-deductible. You may make a gift in honor or in memory of a loved one. Please indicate the name of the individual to be recognized and an address to which HHSF can send a card.

Vehicle Donations

Habitat for Humanity's Cars for Homes^TM
Your car donation can help a family not only build a house, but the hope of a better life! Car donations help Habitat for Humanity San Francisco build homes in partnership with families in need of decent, affordable shelter. Donate a car, truck, boat, RV or other vehicle to Habitat's Cars for Homes^TM vehicle donation program by calling 1-877-277-4344 or visiting www.carsforhomes.org. Please indicate that you would like your vehicle donation to go to the San Francisco affiliate.
